At Melbourn Hub we feel proud and grateful to a range of partners, suppliers and supporters who are all part of making what we do here at the Hub possible.
Today we are highlighting our partnership with TTP, our near neighbours in Melbourn and an important local business and employer for our village and the surrounding area.
TTP is an independent technology company where scientists and engineers work to create new technologies and products that make a real difference. For almost 40 years, the company has been turning ideas into innovation across sectors such as health tech, life science, communications, satellite & space, and energy & industrials – all from its state-of-the-art facilities in Melbourn.
TTP is very supportive of us as an organisation, and we meet with them regularly to keep each other up to date on the work we are respectively doing within our shared community.
Our partnership with TTP goes back to the very beginning of the Hub’s story, when they provided us with vital financial assistance and advice on setting up a community-based company. From the moment our fledgling management group first told them about our vision for the Hub and its place right at the heart of the community, TTP have been great friends to us, offering constructive challenge when we knew very little about the world we were entering into, support and advice along the way.
We would not be where we are now, had it not been for TTP and past and present members of the management group are grateful for this ongoing partnership – a great example of how the charitable and private sector can come together for the collective good of a community.
