We are excited to have reopened our doors last week to a steady stream of delighted and relieved customers. During the last month that we had been in lockdown at the Hub, the management was busy behind the scenes putting plans in place to welcome our customers back with an even more satisfying venue. Judging by the many appreciative comments we’ve had we certainly appear to have succeeded!
A new piece of innovative technology in the form of one of the latest EPOS (electronic point of sale) machines greets our customers now. This has been installed to help in managing the business more effectively, speeding up order processes, providing better table service, and generally improving customers’ experience.
Although, as with many venues, we have not been able to hold our usual renowned flamboyant Christmas celebrations, this year’s emphasis will still be with the younger members of the family. Bec Barnes has produced some excellent activity sheets in the form of Hubby Bear I Spy, and a children’s crossword, both of which are available at the Hub reception.
A lighted Christmas tree is at the entrance to greet customers, and mince pies are once again on the menu. The 25% reduction on the breakfast menu is still ongoing until the end of the month.
For that extra Christmas present, we are now offering gift vouchers which are available from reception. We are also delighted to be providing the facilities to enable the local G.P’s surgery to administer the Winter flu jabs to their patients.
