Dementia Friends Cafe
3rd Saturday of the month 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Attendance is free, no need to book and includes entertainment and conversation over refreshments.
Mind ‘Open Door’ sessions
Tuesday afternoons 2pm – 4pm
‘Open Door’ calm spaces will provide somewhere to go for any local person who feels the need for a bit of space and tranquillity. These two hour, day-time sessions will be a place to just ‘be’ and, for those who want it, will also offer guidance on self-help techniques which can help individuals to feel better – both in that moment and in the future.
‘Everyone Health’ free NHS health checks
For 2019 these can be booked in 09:30 to 12:00 on 19th February and 13th March 2020. By apt (03330 050093) or just walk in, but walk-ins may need to wait for an appointment if busy.
