Health at the Hub
Patients can now access a range of Health and Wellbeing services at Melbourn Hub. The initiative, is a Melbourn Hub collaboration with NHS Meridian Primary Care Network (PCN), the Cambs & Peterborough NHS vaccinators, plus other health and wellbeing service providers and is the first of its kind in South Cambs. The idea is to bring some of the services out of GP surgeries and into a community setting and also provides access locally to other key health services such as vaccinations and mental health support etc.
‘Health at The Hub’ began in May 2022 when The Hub hosted the first of several Covid-19 vaccination walk in clinics by the ‘vaccinators on tour’. The partnership with Meridian PCN was launched at a public event at Melbourn Hub in June 2022 and attended by a range of health and wellbeing providers, the public and key people supporting the initiative.

Meridian PCN supports patients from the following surgeries:
- Orchard Surgery (Melbourn)
- Roysia Surgery
- Harston Surgery
- Bourn Surgery
- Comberton & Eversden Surgeries
- Monkfield Medical Practice
Other Health and Wellbeing services at The Hub may also offer support to patients beyond the above surgeries. For example Covid-19 vaccination clinics are open to all eligible patients, regardless of the patient’s location or registered surgery.
